The Audience:
All hospital, clinical, and support staff, as well as newly onboarded employees ages 18–65+ with little to no MRI-specific training.
The Problem:
Hospital management has identified a rise in MRI safety incidents and near-misses involving non-MRI staff. The lack of standardized, accessible training for personnel entering the MRI environment is contributing to preventable safety risks and unnecessary operational costs.
The Solution:
This course delivers a standardized, accessible MRI safety training for non-MRI staff, closing critical knowledge gaps and enabling clinical and support personnel to consistently apply safe practices in the MRI environment.
My Design Approach:
Grounded in real-world MRI safety scenarios, this course is designed to engage the learner in the importance of MRI Safety to ensure relevance and immediate workplace application. The content progresses from general MRI safety to specific protocols and application steps. The learning experience mirrors authentic clinical situations, enabling learners to practice drawing on prior experience, making decisions, and applying MRI safety protocols in their daily roles.
Highlights: Engaging video and authentic healthcare imagery create a realistic context. Interactive elements such as click to reveal, accordion, slider, drag and drop, and text entry support active engagement. Frequent knowledge checks reinforce recall, reflection, and application. A job aid poster supports application of MRI safety protocols in daily practice.
Kirkpatrick's level 2 of evaluation: Final Quiz: 5 scenario-based questions, 80% passing score, unlimited attempts to pass. 2 ungraded knowledge checks.
Kirkpatrick's level 3 of evaluation: Direct observation by supervisors or MRI personnel using standardized checklists to evaluate the application of MRI safety protocols and ensure that staff consistently demonstrate safe practices. Audit of safety data including zone access compliance, screening form completion rates, and badge access violations. Review of incident and near-miss reports and pre- and post-training comparisons.

The Audience:
Front desk staff who assist members with class enrollment and registration.
The Problem:
Wellness Gym launched yoga classes for members 55+, but participation hasn’t increased. Surveys show front desk staff need stronger skills to engage this audience and confidently promote the classes.
The Solution:
This 15-minute training equips front desk staff with practical strategies to connect with older members and recommend yoga classes with the goal of increasing 55+ participation and sales by 20% within six months.
My Design Approach:
This course is organized into three focused areas: welcoming older members, understanding yoga offerings, and recommending classes. It begins with a brief reflection to build empathy, encouraging learners to consider what it feels like to try something new. A clear, practical three-step approach supports confident interactions at the front desk. Visuals, labeled graphics, and a sorting activity help learners recognize and identify different yoga styles and their benefits. To reinforce workplace application, the course models effective questioning and recommendation techniques, then provides branching scenarios for learners to practice guiding members to the right class based on their needs.
Highlights: Interactive blocks consist of click to reveal, matching, and sorting interactions. Knowledge checks, branching scenarios, and final assessment. Job aid provides easy reference for on the job application.
Kirkpatrick's level 2 of evaluation: Final Quiz: 4 scenario-based questions, 75% passing score, unlimited attempts to pass.
Kirkpatrick's level 3 of evaluation: Conduct an on-the-job observation of front desk staff three months after completing the training. Using a standardized rubric, evaluate whether staff are:
Effectively using the Greeting–Check-In–Guidance method when engaging older members.
Accurately describing the features and benefits of each yoga style.
Recommending yoga classes that align with the needs of the individual member.
